No need looking for a shelter
The nature’s giving you a kiss
Wait for the end of pelter
Feel in the rain the pure bliss.
No need for getting quite wet
Settle on an edge of waterwall
Don’t be afraid of wind’s onset
Enjoy that voice of rainfall.
No need for any fleeting thoughts
Just free your mind along with this
Forget all that annoying oughts
Feel in the rain the pure bliss.

Beautiful poem!
I love to shower in the rain. Thankfully I live a ways away from other people in my Tiny House, so I don’t cause too much chaos. One smells heavenly after a rain shower. Cool and light. It is a wondrous thing.
The rain is blissful, you are right.

Great poem! Inviting one to let go and flow. Takes me back to my childhood when we used to play, sing and dance in the tropical rains!

Oh! how i adore this little bliss
The cute painting does tranform my world
Who is the painter, May i ask?

The first two lines,
“No need looking for a shelter
The nature’s giving you a kiss”
is the thought I’ve been trying to form of rain for years.

Beautiful poem! I must say, though, I preferred standing in the rain when I lived in California. The Alaska climate does not lend itself to tolerably warm showers, although I have chanced it from time to time. =0) Thank you for stopping by my blog and liking my post!

it’s almost like the place where i always want to be
the place that is quiet with only the sound of the falls
where there are birds chirping around and the breeze making sounds
the pitter patter of the rain drops and the leaves entangled
where i can spread my arms without being scared
and soak myself for as long as i am there
i wish the place somewhere exists,
it probably does for i nurture it whenever i sleep….
like what you thought when you wrote your poem.

Guy, thanks for stoppin by and checking out my site…it is often how I find new authors I like….this poem already has a lot of comments but if I could, let me add my two cents…very nice nature based poem, language, word choice, supportive of the “feel” of the poem, rhythm of the poem is set up nicely…through most of the poem…If ya’ don’t mind me playin editor (a postion I held for a poetry magazine some years back now) fer a bit though…fer me I would drop the second “the” in the last line from the first and last stanza
“Feel in the rain the pure bliss” to “Feel in the rain pure bliss” I think this helps maintain the flow, rhythm of the poem
Secondarily I would trim the last Stanza
No need for any fleeting thoughts
Just free your mind along with this
Forget all that annoying oughts
Feel in the rain the pure bliss.
No need for fleeting thoughts
Just free your mind with this
Forget all the annoying oughts
Feel in the rain pure bliss.
I feel this carries the rhythm of the poem, started in the first Stanza, more smoothly through to the end. Don’t get me wrong…I think this is a solid beautiful poem, hope ya don’t mind me pokin at it…lol…jes ignore me if ya don’t like the suggestions
Thanks again
